The engagement will be purely on temporary and contractual basis upto 31.03.2013 on fixed remuneration @ Rs. 13500/- (Rs. Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred Only). P.M. under the scheme of SSA and funded by SSA.2. Reservation & relaxation will be provided as per rules. The candidate belonging to reserved category of SC/ OBC must possess caste certificate issued from the Competent Authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi on or before the last date of closing of Online i.e 06.01.2013.3. The candidate belonging to Physically Handicapped Category (Ortho + VH) must possess “Disability Certificate” from Govt. hospital.4. Qualification : -1). The Criteria for selection will bedrawn on the basis of marks obtained in the academic and professional qualification. Teacher Training : 30%Total Weightage/Marks : 1007. The candidates selected for engagement will have to sign a contract agreement with zonal DDEs/ADEs before issuing of engagement letter. In the current year, the period of engagement is till 31.03.2013 .After expiry of contractual period they will be disengaged.8. The candidates so engaged on contract basis shall not file any court case regarding salary & regularization.9. The contract period of these posts will automatically stands cancelled on 31.03.2013. However, if SSA during the contractual period stops providing funds to SDMC the engagement shall stand cancelled.10.Instruction To candidates1. No manual application will be accepted or entertained. The applicant shall fill up his/ her name as recorded in the certificate of Secondary Examination.3. The candidates should ensure that correct entries are made in the entire application.4. Applications with incomplete/wrong particular will be rejected. Applicant will be responsible for filling wrong application form.5. The list of short listed candidates will alongwith scheduled of verification of documents and instructions will beuploaded on MCD Website www.mcdonline.gov.inbetween 09.01.2013 to 12.01.2013.6. The final list of selected candidates after verification of documents will be publish on www.mcdonline.gov.in.7. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease.8. It is clarified for the prospectivecandidates of SC/ST categories, that the reservation benefits in these categories for the vacancies shall be admissible as per judgement dated 04/08/2009 of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India as passed in Civil Appeal No. 5092/09(arising out of SLP Civil No. 24327 of 2005) – Subhash Chander & Ors.Vs Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board and Ors. with WP(C) No. 507 of 2006-Sarv Rural& Urban Welfare Society Vs. Unionof India & Ors and the related instructions of the Government. Therefore, the candidates who have obtained the SC/ST certificates in Delhi on the basis ofthe certificates of their parents issued by other States and have migrated to Delhi are not entitled for the benefit of reservation and shall be considered under UR category, if eligible otherwise. All prospective candidates are advisedto check their eligibility regarding admissibility of benefit of reservation accordingly. In view of Judgment dated 04/08/2009 of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and in the absence of Presidential notification under Article 342 of the Constitution of India declaring any tribe to be a ST in the UT of Delhi, the vacancies under ST category are not being advertised.9. The age relaxation for SC applicants are upto 5 years & OBC applicants upto 3 years. Candidatesbelonging to SC/OBC who were also covered under the Physically Disability Category will be eligible for cumulative age relaxation under both of the categories.10. Selected candidates will have to join his / her duty within 10 days of issuing of the engagement letter. In case any candidate fails to join in the stipulated period his / her claim shall be forfeited and the next candidate available in the merit list will be engages or given the offer to work on contract basis.No correspondence will be made in this regard.11.
